 The grey squirrel is loved and loathed in equal measures. During the last couple of centuries, they have firmly established themselves and thrived, much to the dismay of many home and business owners. Squirrels will happily build their dreys in your attic and loft space and then proceed to chew woodwork, gnaw electrical wires, water pipes and destroy insulation. They are also noisy and disruptive.
